November 10, 2018 - Two random strangers bump into each other on the dance floor on the 3rd floor of the DL - one of the biggest Manhattan bars. They are instantly intrigued by each other and exchange phone numbers. They both circle the bar looking for each other with no luck. Nick texts Sara the next morning and says they should get together sometime. Sara saves his number as “Cute Nick from the bar” to return the message later - and forgets.

September 19, 2020 - Nick and Sara meet again at an apartment party on the East side of Manhattan. Nick compliments Kate's enthusiastic dancing and the three of them talk for a while. Nick runs to his cousin Brook and complains about how a girl talked his ear off. A few minutes later, Nick is wandering the apartment looking for Sara. When he finds her, he is relieved that she is still there. As the night is ending, Nick goes in for a kiss. Sara stops him and says "Wait!", and Nick looks immediately defeated. Sara said "No, no, I just forgot your name!" and Nick laughs, gives Sara his name, and kisses her. When they go to exchange numbers, Nick already has her number. Confused, and with Sara a little weirded out that this stranger has her number saved, Nick remembers who she is. He quickly messages the number to bring up the two-year-old text messages. Sara's Apple watch buzzes to a text message from "Cute Nick from the Bar" and they are both smitten in disbelief. They agree to go on a first date a few days later.

September 23, 2020 - On their first date, they share their whole life stories. They both can't stop asking and answering questions, eager to find out more and more about each other. They keep waving off the waitress to prevent her from interrupting. Sara goes to the bathroom and immediately calls her best friends, Carli, Sasha, and Isabella, to share how amazing the date is going.

October 24, 2020 - Nick brings Sara to brunch with Nicolo and Anthony to make sure he has their approval of his new love interest, while Sara makes sure Smokey (her cat) approves of Nick... he's still working on it.

November 7, 2020 - They confess their love for each other. They felt it right away and couldn't hold the words in any longer. They shared their first vacation together to Hudson NY, spending the days and nights exploring the town and going on hikes. Then.. they meet the parents. Nick brings Sara's mom dried lavender flowers and brings her dad apple pie from a Farmers Market. After Nick looks Sara's mom in the eye when shaking her hand to meet, Pattie runs into the kitchen and whispers “Frank, Frank, he’s the one she’s going to marry!"

November 10, 2020 - Sara meets George and Fran for dinner a few nights later in NYC. Fran says she is so amazed that Nick met a girl who talks as much as he does. She also noted that Sara is a good listener and remembered all of the little details of the stories of his family that he shared with her.

February 14, 2020 - Nick & Sara’s first Valentine's Day. Nick buys her a dozen roses and Sara’s mom saves them because she knew.

September 6, 2021 - The parents meet in Rhode Island. They knew their moms were so similar and their meeting could go 1 of 2 ways. Fran and George host the best party with lobster rolls and Italian goodies and they all hit it off. That was the first time Sara saw her dad awake past midnight laughing and having such a good time. Sara's mom, Pattie, told her how happy she was for her to be around such wonderful people.

Summer 2022 - Nick & Sara spend many weekends in Westerly, RI with Nick's family and beloved dog Rudy. Nick shows Sara all that he loves about the area, and soon... Sara falls in love with the area (and Rudy) too.

July 5, 2023 - A dream trip to Italy. Nick and Sara fly to Northern Italy for Sara’s first time in Europe. Zia Roberta and Nick's cousin, Valentina, show them all of the beautiful places in the area and host them for homemade meals. They have a dream vacation exploring Lago Di Garda, Lucca, & Cinque Terre. They woke up every morning to church bells, Italian espresso, laundry hanging up from the line in the windows & pastries from local markets.

May 12, 2024 - Nick tricks Sara into thinking she is getting brunch with her sister Kate. He ran out for “coffee” as Sara was doing laundry. He comes back rushed with no coffee, saying he found a key to Gramercy Park. Sara rushes to get ready and runs out the door. As they walk into the park on this wet, on-and-off rainy Mother’s Day morning, there’s nobody else in the park. Nick starts rambling about the history of the park and then all of a sudden says “So you know this is all a ruse right?” Nick tells Sara how he loves her and wants to spend the rest of their lives together. To be honest, they both blacked out the speech part due to pure excitement. And, then, Nick got down on one knee. Sara is still in shock so she didn’t answer until he said “Sooo.. are you going to answer?!” And Sara screamed, “Oh, yes!!!!!”
